How a day works

Steadwell asks three questions to find your track, then takes a balance snapshot: how many times you can rise from a chair in thirty seconds, how long you can stand on one leg, and how far you can reach forward while seated. There is no pass mark and no score.

After that, each day is six gentle movements — about six minutes. Every movement shows you the shape, holds it long enough to copy, and counts down the minute. It moves on by itself when the time is up. Two weeks in, you take the snapshot again.

Stand near a counter or a sturdy chair, and never push through pain. If a movement does not feel right today, skip it or use the seated version. Nothing in Steadwell requires you to finish.

Choosing standing, supported or seated

Your answers at the start choose one, and you can change your mind on any day — the choice is not permanent and nothing is lost by moving to an easier track. "Supported" means one hand rests on the back of a chair. "Seated" means the whole session is done sitting down.

The movement is too fast, or I cannot keep up

Every movement holds its position rather than flowing continuously, so you can copy the shape rather than chase it. If it is still too quick, do half the repetitions — the timer is a guide, not a target. Leaving a session early is one tap and is never questioned.

Restoring a purchase

Tap Restore purchases on the subscription screen. Restores are tied to the Apple ID that bought the subscription, so make sure you are signed in to the same one. If nothing is found, check Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device to confirm the subscription is active.

Managing or cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, and only Apple can change or cancel them: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Steadwell. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period you have paid for ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

My free week ended

The free week is granted once per device and cannot be restarted by reinstalling. After it ends, a subscription is required to continue.

Does Steadwell work without an internet connection?

Yes. The practice, the animations and your history are all on your device. A connection is only needed to start or restore a subscription.
